Twilight stars tell of mixed feelings over end of saga
Posted by: | CommentsTHE stars of the Twilight films have spoken of their mixed feelings about the fantasy series drawing to an end.
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were at east London’s Westfield shopping centre for the UK premiere of penultimate instalment Breaking Dawn: Part 1.
In November next year the series’ fifth and final film, Breaking Dawn: Part 2, will bring one of the most successful teen film franchises of recent years to its conclusion.
Pattinson has been catapulted to superstardom since taking the lead role of vampire Edward Cullen in 2008.
Asked how he felt about the series coming to an end, the star known to fans as R-Patz said: “I don’t know yet. I feel I’ve got a whole ten years solid of Twilight stuff because even after, every job I do, people are going to be like ‘so, how does this compare with Twilight’, so hopefully in a few years I’ll be able to have some reflective view of it.”

His co-star Stewart, who plays Cullen’s love interest Bella Swan in the films, said she felt “funny” about the saga ending.
Decked out in a black Roberto Cavalli halterneck dress with a McQueen belt and blue trainers, the actress said: “I don’t feel finished because I’m going to have to talk about it and thankfully I do love thinking about my whole experience.
“It feels funny to know I don’t have to go back and finish more scenes. It feels very light. The largest segment of my life I remember as a whole.
“It was a formative experience and the most indulgent experience as an actor. It was essentially four years and it was so full-on for so long.”
The Muppets Parody Twilight In The Latest Posters
Posted by: | CommentsNovember is not only the month that delivers the much awaited Muppets movie to the big screen, but it’s also Twilight season, with Breaking Dawn Part 1 set to hit theaters later this week, which is why the latest Muppets posters are especially fitting.
Continuing the parody trend as part of their promotions, these Muppets posters, courtesy of Den of Geek, offer the Muppets’ clever take on Twilight.
As you’ll see in the first one, Kermit is Edward, the Vamphibian. And in the second one, Miss Piggy fittingly represents Kermit’s main squeeze, Miss Bella Swine. As for who’s spoofing Jacob, you’ll have to check out DoG to see that, but the website’s initials might give that one away.
Much in the way that a lot of hype really isn’t exactly necessary to get Twilight fans to line up (or literally camp out) for Breaking Dawn, at this point, it’s unlikely that Muppets fans really need to be sold on this film, but the promotions sure are a lot of fun, anyway!
The Muppets arrives in theaters on November 23rd. More on the film can be found in our Movielist.tv
9 New Images for Part 1 of Twilight: Breaking Dawn
Posted by: | Comments
With the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 this Friday (18th November), we have nine new images from the film, just to get you that little bit more excited.
Breaking Dawn is the final novel to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga. This first part follows Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) through their marriage and honeymoon to the life-threatening consequence of Bella becoming pregnant. Now, with the Volturi, a vampire coven, waiting for Bella to be turned immortal and the Quileute werewolf tribe keeping guard, Bella must say goodbye to the ones she loves and prepare for the birth of her blood-sucking baby as they watch her weaken from its thirst.
As a fan of the Twilight books, I’m looking forward to seeing how this will play out. Mostly, I think it would be interesting to see how the film deals with the sexual scenes and then a baby eating its way out of Bella’s stomach for the younger audience, who the film makers like to put their focus towards.

The film is directed by Bill Condon, and also stars Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Taylor Lautner, Jackson Rathbone, Dakota Fanning and Kellan Lutz.

Robert Pattinson: ‘Kristen Stewart amazing in Twilight wedding dress’
Posted by: | CommentsThe 25-year-old revealed that he was confused by the secrecy surrounding Stewart’s gown for the film, saying that it was simply “a white dress”, People reports.
“But it’s beautiful, it’s an incredible dress,” Pattinson told Ann Curry while appearing on Today. “She looks amazing.”
He went on to say that the dress was such a big secret that most of the cast was genuinely curious to see the gown.
“I’d seen her in the wedding dress, but pretty much everyone in the cast hadn’t seen her,” Pattinson said. “So when she’s walking down the aisle and everyone turns around to her, it’s genuine curiosity because there was so much secrecy about it.”
The actor recently joked that he will learn to fight or get a gun in order to defend himself from unwanted attention.
Earlier this month, Pattinson claimed that the Twilight films made vampires sexy, insisting that the nocturnal creatures were rarely portrayed as attractive prior to the big-screen adaptation of Stephenie Meyer‘s novels.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1- Kristen Stewart’s Bella Wedding Gift
Posted by: | Comments
You’ve seen it before if you’ve been keeping up-to-date with all the previews for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1, but I bet you didn’t realize the importance of that little hair comb Kristen Stewart’s Bella wears when she marries Edward. Find out the special role this fashionable accessory plays.
Weddings are filled with tradition and part of that tradition requires that the bride wear something old and something blue. Bella might be preoccupied with thoughts of kissing her mortal life goodbye (or possibly about finally getting Edward in bed) but Mom and Dad are here to save the day and insure that wedding etiquette is followed… and you just have to love the little shot that Charlie (Billy Burke) slips in at Bella’s mom. Ah, the love between ex’s; it’s so thick you can cut it with a knife.
Fortunately, the slam doesn’t affect the joyous atmosphere of the happy occasion, which could really throw a kink in the plot if the wedding had to be called off because Bella’s parents got into a fight right before the walk down the aisle.
The long wait is almost over and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 will be showing up in theaters in about two weeks. A copy of Bella’s hairpiece is probably available in stores now, just waiting to be scooped up by engaged Twihards everywhere.

‘Twilight’ cast news wrap: Anna Kendrick goes ‘Unscripted’
Posted by: | CommentsThere are several items of Twilight cast news to share today, so to keep it short and sweet, here’s a wrap-up of the latest!
For starters, Anna Kendrick (“Jessica Stanley”) has been a busy bee, promoting the release of 50/50 (th
e film hits theaters tomorrow), and the latest for her is an “Unscripted” session with her co-stars for the film, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. Check that out here. She talks a bit about getting help from an actual therapist for her part in the film, which I found to be incredibly interesting. Also of note is a quote she offered up to Movie Fanatic about The Twilight Saga‘s use of four different directors throughout the process. Here’s what she had to say about that:

It was a little nerve-wracking. These people didn’t choose you. You have no idea if they think you’re a decent actor or you do a good job. It was lucky that it felt to me that everyone that came in felt like they just wanted us to keep doing what we were doing because they liked what we did on the last one. Nice and easy for me.
For Anna Kendrick, and many of the other Twilight Saga castmates, she was chosen by Catherine Hardwicke and her team the first go-round, so she was sort of grandfathered into her role again and again. With each new director, the original cast grew a bit more (with the exception of Eclipse and the Rachelle Lefevre/Bryce Dallas Howard change-up), so for Breaking Dawn, with Bill Condon, a cast of two dozen was already in place for the film before he ever approached the post. Presumably, he did so while content with the pre-selections, but who knows. I guess that would be a bit daunting for the actors who weren’t sure if they were what the director would’ve wanted, given more choices than Condon was. Interesting to hear her say that.
Next, the first clip of Ashley Greene (“Alice Cullen”) in her film Butter, which she recently promoted at TIFF, has been unveiled. You can watch it here. Jennifer Garner is hilarious and ironic in this scene, and Ashley Greene and Modern Family star Ty Burrell are watching Garner give her speech from the bleachers.
Meanwhile, Guri Weinberg (“Stefan” – Romanian Coven), who shared the details of his GFYS Breaking Dawn set game a while back, issued a new blog post in which he talked about turning that little back-and-forth into something charitable. The full details are here on his blog. He’s set up GFYS4Charity, a store with tons of GFYS designed shirts, etc. up for grabs. This year, proceeds will go towards Children of the Night, a charity which Weinberg and his wife support, and then in the spring, a local animal shelter will be aided by the effort until later, when Weinberg will use the aid of Twilight fans to choose a third beneficiary group. Great of him to put this into motion, right? Also, the designs are pretty elaborate and impressive! I want one!
Lastly, there are two in-progress films at the moment which are both bringing back together two Twilight Saga castmates (we’ve seen this before with Anonymous and Jamie Campbell Bower/Xavier Samuel, 50/50 with Bryce Dallas Howard/AnnaKendrick, The Haunting Hour with Booboo Stewart/Jodelle Ferland, and Shouting Secrets with Gil Birmingham/Chaske Spencer). They are: Hatfields & McCoys with Patrick Brennan (“Liam” – Irish Coven) and Noel Fisher (“Vladimir” – Romanian Coven) and Fishing Naked with Tinsel Korey (“Emily Young”) and Bronson Pelletier (“Jared”).
Fisher shared details on Hatfields & McCoys on his Twitter page, saying it is a miniseries, featuring Brennan as his father, “about these two famous feuding families in Kentucky and West Virginia.” It’s a remake of the 1970′s series The Hatfields And The McCoys, and stars Kevin Costner. Interestingly enough, Fisher has shared that production for the series is taking place in Romania (where his Breaking Dawn character hails from) and that he is staying somewhere nearby Dracula’s Castle. And it all comes full circle . . .
Meanwhile, Korey and Pelletier have been working on Fishing Naked for quite some time now, finishing up this week actually, and a first-look at the film has been offered up by Tinsel Korey Online. Check out the photos here. Looks like a sweet little movie.
James Wan in Talks to Direct Supernatural Thriller THE COURTING
Posted by: | CommentsDirector James Wan has a knack for low-budget horror films. He helmed the first two Saw movies, which were so profitable they spurned 67 sequels, and he directed this year’s low-budget hit Insidious. Now Variety reports that Wan is in talks to direct the low-budget thriller The Courting. The pitch was inspired by the supernatural events that happened in the home of the Perron family in Rhode Island. Andrea Perron has written a volume recounting her family’s incredibly creepy supernatural interactions in a book called House of Darkness House of Light: The True Story.
No production start date has been set for The Courting, but Wan is also attached to direct a supernatural thriller called Spectre with Nicole Kidman in talks to star. Hit the jump to read a super spooky synopsis of House of Darkness House of Light: The True Story.
Here’s the synopsis for House of Darkness House of Light: The True Story:
Roger and Carolyn Perron purchased the home of their dreams and eventual nightmares in December of 1970. The Arnold Estate, located just beyond the village of Harrisville, Rhode Island seemed the idyllic setting in which to raise a family. The couple unwittingly moved their five young daughters into the ancient and mysterious farmhouse. Secrets were kept and then revealed within a space shared by mortal and immortal alike. Time suddenly became irrelevant; fractured by spirits making their presence known then dispersing into the ether. The house is a port [...]
