Robert Pattinson Battles Wolves in New Breaking Dawn Footage
Posted by: | Comments
The latest Breaking Dawn tease involves Robert Pattinson partaking in some action with a pack of an
gry werewolves. Pattinson’s Edward, Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) and Alice (Ashley Greene) stand between the wolves and the Cullen abode where a pregnant Bella (Kristen Stewart) is struggling for her life. The wolves attack, and from the looks of the clip, gain the upper hand on their vampire foes.
Estimates are starting to come in on how much cash Breaking Dawn will suck out of moviegoers this weekend. Low ball estimates are suggesting around $125 million from Friday’s early midnight screenings through Sunday. Other estimates are pegging the opening to come in between $140 and $150 million.

Looking back at the previous Twilight films, Breaking Dawn is definitely opening in the franchise’s sweet spot to dominate the box office. The previous film, Eclipse, was the only one to open in the summer and took in $64.8 million in its first weekend. That’s $5 million shy of the original Twilight, and well below the $142 million New Moon opened to in November 2009.
Considering the high profile events that take place in Breaking Dawn, I’d be surprised if it came in below what New Moon put up. As of Monday, Fandango had sold out more than 2,500 showings of Breaking Dawn and additional screens are being added to meet demand.
Where do you think The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 will land in terms of opening weekend ticket sales?
Nikki Reed Covers Seventeen, Talks Twilight Cast Dynamics
Posted by: | CommentsNikki Reed‘s beaming off the December cover of Seventeen Magazine, but the topic of her Twilight cast mates isn’t exactly full of sunshine. We’re so used to seeing them chummy on red carpets, that we’d all like to believe that they’re BFF in real life. That’s not always the case, as Nikki clarifies in the interview, “In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family – it was like being at sleepaway camp. And then success comes along and changes the dynamic.” That’s when we cutaway to a shot of the actress looking moodily into the future with a dramatic swell of music in the background. Easy now, we kid.
But post Breaking Dawn, the actress seems certain that the on-set relationships won’t spill over to real life. Nikki added, “We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.” Does that include Kristen Stewart? Those two used to be besties, but we haven’t heard a peep about them in a while. ”She makes really good dessert”, is what Nikki answered when asked what she’d miss about KStew the most. That’s it? There’s got to be more to miss!

Stewart In Pain At The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Premiere
Posted by: | CommentsThe actress was quick to change out of her high-heeled Jimmy Choo sandals after walking the black carpet at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles for the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
Stewart later revealed that it was a stunt accident on upcoming movie Snow White and the Huntsman that was to blame for her aches and pains.
Speaking at the event, she told , “(My feet) hurt so bad. Usually they hurt. I just hurt my foot on Snow White of course, because I do that to myself all the time. So, I think this is the last interview I’m going to stay in these heels.
“I hurt my foot genuinely. I was running around on Snow White and I tend to hurt myself when I get really into stuff, and I did it again. It’s not that bad, it’s just these are crazy killer heels.
“I’m such a klutz… As soon as they say, ‘Action!’ it doesn’t matter what you say to me, I hurt myself… (But) I love stunts.”
It’s not Stewart’s first Snow White injury – last month, the shoot ground to a halt after she hurt her hand while filming a fight with dwarves.
Frederick Fekkai celebrity stylist Adir Abergel did Kristen Stewart‘s hair for the Nov. 14 Breaking Dawn premiere. Here’s what he did in just five steps.
Adir began by applying Fekkai Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray Gel to the roots of the hair to build texture.
He then applied Fekkai Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray throughout the rest of the hair and rough dried it to create a beachy and textured base for the up-do.
Adir then took random pieces and created standard braids, fishtail braids and twists throughout the hair in various sizes, leaving the very top of the hair loose.
He then took all of the hair except for the loose hair at the top, and knotted and twisted it to create an up-do. He used hairpins to create a very undone look.
To finalize the look Adir backcombed the front of the hair to add volume, then pushed it back and pinned it in place. He secured the look by spraying the hair with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.
Are you surprised at how easy this stunning hairstyle is to create?

Happy Saturday, folks. I’m writing to you this week surrounded by a mountain of used facial tissue (that’s right, I’m not endorsing Kleenex on the site without some sort of kick back…wait, dang it). Cold season has officially set in which means I’m on a daily regimen of Dayquil (which I have no problem endorsing), warm tea, and self-pity. In case you’re a longtime reader of the “Top 5? and you’re wondering to yourself, “Wasn’t Jason just complaining about the summer heat?”, the answer is yes. Out of the 52 yearly weeks, I’m generally not complaining about the weather for approximately 2 or 3 of them. It’s sad, I know.
In this week’s “Top 5? you can find our video interviews with the cast of A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, press conferences with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and more from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 junket, the red band trailer for Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum’s 21 Jump Street, a sit-down with the great Albert Brooks, and our coverage to date of this year’s American Film Market. Find a brief recap and link to each after the jump.
1. Watch A VERY HAROLD & KUMAR 3D CHRISTMAS Movie

It looks like I’m going to have to make room in my annual Christmas-themed comedy lineup. Traditionally, Elf, Christmas Vacation, Just Friends, and Jingle All the Way (okay, not really) are a mainstay for me and mine around the holiday season. Based on everything I’ve heard about A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, it could soon make the cut. If you’ve already seen the pic and loved it as much as Matt did or if you’re as hopeful as I am, then you may want to check out our video interviews with stars Kal Penn and John Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, and Thomas Lennon.
2.Watch THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 Movie

Like it or not, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is hitting theaters in a few weeks and it’s most likely going to make a bazillion dollars give or take. Rather than fret over whether or not the film’s merits actually warrant that type of success and popularity, I recommend taking the approach I adopted sometime around New Moon‘s release and just be happy that we’re one installment closer to this whole thing being a distant memory. All pessimism aside, in my never-ending quest to not be known as a “hater”, I want to encourage anyone who is legitimately looking forward to Breaking Dawn to check out our junket coverage featuring press conferences with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, author Stephanie Meyer, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, and producer Wyck Godfrey (we also have another interview with Godfrey here).
3. Watch Red Band Trailer for 21 JUMP STREET

In the name of full disclosure, I have to say that I’ve never been a huge fan of Channing Tatum’s work (an admission that I’m sure will rock the actor to the core). In my defense, all of that was before I witnessed him, in full park cop attire, threaten to beat a man’s genitals off. Will the final product be full of low-brow, potty humor? Probably. I don’t care, though, because this red band trailer for 21 Jump Street is pretty great.
4. Albert Brooks Talks DRIVE, TAXI DRIVER and More

Actor/writer/director Albert Brooks had an excellent career before he ever thought about taking on the role of Bernie Rose in Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 crime drama Drive. It just so happens that his take on the cutthroat Rose has helped bring his stellar resume to light for a whole new generation of audiences who may have otherwise never considered revisiting his work in Lost in America, Broadcast News (for which he received his one and only Oscar nomination to date), or Defending Your Life just to name a few. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Brooks or you’re just wanting to learn more about the guy who played Bernie Rose to a tee, I suggest checking out Steve’s interview with Brooks from earlier in the week.
5. American Film Market 2011 Coverage

If at any point this week you found yourself wondering, “Where are all of these new movie images and synopses coming from?”, the answer to that question is the American Film Market currently being held in beautiful Santa Monica. The market runs from November 2nd-9th so be on the lookout for even more images and synopses to pop up in the coming days. In the meantime, you can click here to check out all of our coverage of the event and get up to date on anything you may have missed.
